Modern Slavery Statement

Introduction

HSEnergy Group Ltd is committed to upholding the highest ethical standards in all aspects of our business. We strongly oppose all forms of modern slavery and human trafficking and take proactive measures to ensure these crimes do not occur within our operations or supply chain.

This statement outlines our approach to preventing slavery and human trafficking, in accordance with the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015.

Our Business and Supply Chain

HSEnergy Group Ltd is a leading provider of renewable energy solutions, specialising in solar PV, battery storage, EV charging, and energy management systems for residential, commercial, and wholesale customers.

Our supply chain includes manufacturers, distributors, subcontractors, and service providers across the UK and internationally. We recognise that some industries, particularly manufacturing and construction, present a higher risk of modern slavery, and we take steps to mitigate this risk.

Our Commitment and Policies

HSEnergy Group Ltd is committed to ensuring modern slavery and human trafficking have no place in our business. To achieve this, we have implemented the following measures:

  • Supplier Code of Conduct – All suppliers and contractors must adhere to our ethical sourcing standards, including compliance with anti-slavery laws.
  • Due Diligence & Risk Assessments – We assess the modern slavery risks within our supply chain and take action where necessary.
  • Whistleblowing Policy – Employees, suppliers, and stakeholders can confidentially report any concerns regarding unethical practices.
  • Employment Practices – We verify that all employees, contractors, and temporary workers have legal rights to work in the UK and are employed under fair conditions.

Supplier Due Diligence

We work with suppliers who share our commitment to ethical practices. Our due diligence process includes:

  • Assessing suppliers’ policies and procedures regarding modern slavery.
  • Ensuring suppliers comply with national and international labour laws.
  • Conducting audits or requesting evidence of compliance, where applicable.

If we identify any supplier or contractor engaging in unethical labour practices, we take immediate action, which may include contract termination.

Employee Awareness and Training

We provide training to key personnel to help them recognise and report signs of modern slavery. Our team is encouraged to be vigilant in identifying and addressing any concerns related to unethical employment practices.

Continuous Improvement

We are committed to regularly reviewing our approach to modern slavery prevention and making improvements as necessary. This includes updating our policies, enhancing supplier engagement, and increasing awareness among employees and partners.

Reporting Concerns

HSEnergy Group Ltd encourages the reporting of any suspected modern slavery cases through our confidential reporting channels. Any concerns raised will be thoroughly investigated, and appropriate action will be taken.
