When Canolfan Prysor Centre decided to expand its electric vehicle charging offering, they tapped Swift Charging to install the EV infrastructure and enlisted HS Energy to deliver the solar PV and battery system that would power it all. By combining Swift’s proven EV expertise with HS Energy’s commercial solar know-how, both teams worked seamlessly from day one to meet the Centre’s rising energy demands and sustainability goals.
The Challenge

Increasing Load: New EV chargers would significantly boost overnight and daytime electricity usage.

Limited Roof Area: Maximising solar output required precise panel layout and smart battery integration to smooth out intermittency.
How We Delivered Together

Swift Charging installed and commissioned six dual-port EV chargers, complete with load-management software to sequence charging sessions.

HS Energy designed and fitted a 49.02 kWp rooftop solar array using 114× 430 W all-black DMEGC panels, plus a 19.2 kWh Fox EQ battery to store excess solar for night-time and off-peak use.

Integrated Controls ensure solar generation feeds the café, leisure facilities, and EV chargers first, before drawing from the grid, maximising on-site self-consumption.
